Strip Gun Club is at 2235 South Las Vegas Boulevard, walking distance from The STRAT, and our free shuttle brings you here from any Strip or downtown hotel. No rental car, no rideshare, no parking.

The Pistols Package puts four handguns in your hands: a 1911, any Glock, a .357 or .44 revolver, and any suppressed pistol. Ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection, and a dedicated range safety officer are all included, and you leave with unlimited photos and video.

8 RDS
The 1911

John Browning’s design, adopted by the U.S. military in 1911 and still the benchmark for single-action trigger feel. We stock everything from classic GI-pattern pistols to modern tactical builds. The all-steel frame soaks up recoil, which makes .45 ACP far more manageable than most first-timers expect.

10 RDS
Any Glock

Any Glock in our inventory. That means the 17 and 19 in 9mm, the 21 in .45 ACP, the 22, 23, and 35 in .40 S&W, or the competition-length 34. The Glock 17 is the most widely issued service pistol in the world and the one we hand most first-time shooters. Light recoil, simple controls, no external safety to think about.

6-8 RDS
.357 or .44 Revolver

Choose between a .357 Magnum and a .44 Magnum, and the difference is worth thinking about. The .357 is the more forgiving of the two, with a sharp crack and a push you can ride out. The .44 Magnum is the Dirty Harry gun, and it hits noticeably harder in the hand. Both are double-action revolvers, so there is no magazine and no slide to work. You load the cylinder, aim, and squeeze.

Any Suppressed Pistol

Any suppressed pistol we run, including the SilencerCo Maxim 9, a 9mm with the suppressor built into the gun rather than screwed onto it, and the FN 509 Tactical with a can fitted. Most guests have only heard suppressors in movies, and the movies get it wrong. Hearing what one actually sounds like is the part people talk about afterward.

Why Shoot at a Pistol Range on the Strip

Most Las Vegas shooting ranges sit twenty to forty minutes off the Strip, which turns an hour of shooting into half a lost day. Strip Gun Club was built on Las Vegas Boulevard specifically so that wouldn’t be the trade-off. Our indoor range runs climate-controlled year-round, which matters in July when the outdoor desert ranges are pushing 110 degrees.

Reservations here are never mixed in with walk-ins. If you booked a time, that’s your time. Complimentary round-trip transportation covers Strip and downtown hotels, so a pistol session fits between dinner and a show instead of consuming your afternoon.

No Experience Needed

First Time Shooting a Handgun?

Most people who book the Pistols Package have never fired a handgun. That’s the normal case here, not the exception, and the package is sequenced for it. You start with the 1911 and Glock before working up to the heavier revolvers.

Your range safety officer stays with you

They load every magazine, demonstrate each pistol, set your grip and stance, and stand at your shoulder for every shot. You are never handed a loaded firearm and left to figure it out.

Worried about recoil? Say so.

A 9mm Glock 17 produces noticeably less recoil than most first-timers brace for, and your RSO can order your four guns lightest-first so you build up rather than starting cold on a .44 Magnum.

Visiting from overseas?

Visitors from the UK, Australia, Japan, and across Europe make up a large share of our shooters. No prior experience is required, and no license or permit of any kind.

Pistol Range FAQs

Do I need any experience to shoot pistols here?

No. Most of our Pistols Package guests are first-time shooters. A range safety officer provides full instruction and stays with you for the entire session.

How many rounds are in the Pistols Package?

Roughly 34 to 36 rounds across four handguns: 8 from the 1911, 10 from your Glock, 6 to 8 from your revolver, and 10 from the suppressed pistol.

How long does the pistol experience take?

Plan on about 30 minutes of range time. Total visit length varies with group size and shuttle timing.

Can minors shoot pistols at your range?

Shooters aged 10 and up may participate when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Do you provide transportation from Las Vegas Strip hotels?

Yes. Complimentary round-trip transportation is available from Strip and downtown Las Vegas hotels. Book your shuttle when you book your package.

What should I wear to a pistol range?

Closed-toe shoes and a high-necked top. Avoid open-neck shirts, which can catch hot brass.
